The Temple of Universal Judaism (TUJ), a URJ: Union for Reform Judaism congregation - which elected Rabbi Fridkis to serve in 2012 - has adopted TorahNYC and its Open Doors to progressive Jewish living.

With TUJ's support, we are better able to welcome all  to our open and inclusive vision of Reform Judaism. And we are developing new programs of welcome and inclusion: including a children's and adult's Bar/Bat Mitzvah program where no one will be turned away!

TUJ and TorahNYC pride themselves on being a "house for all people" (Isaiah 56).  For forty years TUJ has been a congregation where all people - regardless of religion, race or sexual orientation - can find a Jewish home.  Rabbi Fridkis' goal for TorahNYC was the same: to reach out and create a spiritual "home" open for anyone not involved in synagogue life.

For further information or membership please visit TUJ.org

TORAHnyc reaches out to the unaffiliated Reform-Liberal Jewish community of NYC with High Holy Day meals & services, our Passover Seders, Shabbat at the home of Rabbi Fridkis and Torah study designed to unlock the ancient mysteries of the Jewish experience and "The ONE God Who Is Everything."
TORAHnyc is a "place" and a "home" - not a location.  A place where those who are alone at holidays, on the Sabbath, anytime, can find a "Jewish home."
TORAHnyc is open to all: young & older, singles & couples, children & families, gays & lesbians, the interfaith, those who are born Jewish & those who are not.
TORAHnyc can be your "home" when you need us, a "place" for all who are searching for a deeper connection to Jewish life, learning & the Jewish "people"

Come for the Holy Days & Passover ...   Come for Shabbat ...

                          Come to TORAH !
